Focal length: 20mm

The picture was taken at 5.50pm on 25th Aug at14% of moon phase. The moon a day before was actually more impressive.I decided to take a sky with moon when I saw the moon. The exposure is slightly higher than normal setting as I wanted to capture both moon and stars. I prefer to frame objects around the sky in.

Reasoning
Apart from the aesthetics, the moon is a good evidence to show when the picture was taken. I selected the picture taken at the evening when the sky was still brighter. I also took it at after dark. This time I wanted to capture the moon shape as clear as possible so I could not rise exposure sufficient to capture other objects in and around sky, such as stars and trees, in the night. The picture taken at the evening gives good surrounding information with crisp moon image.

Reflection
I learned that If you focused on clear edge of moon, the exposure is lower than usual night scene. I had to make compromise when I wanted to have both clear stars and moon in same shot. perhaps, it is an option to compose pictures in different exposure in post production.
